My name is Frans Minnaar. I have been born in 1968. My interest (and specialities) are Governance, Government, Municipalities, Management and Enterprise Risks.
I have a Ph. D degree from the University of the Free State (UFS) (2004), in Public Administration and Management.
From February 1994 to end of January 2003, I have worked as a public servant, from 2003 to 2024 as a management consultant, and from 1996 to 2016 as a part-time university lecturer at the UFS; including facilitating multiple training sessions to working adults (primarily in the public sector).
I have written two academic books, which were published by Van Schaik publishers.
My naam is Frans Minnaar. Ek is gebore in 1968. My belangstelling (en spesialisasie) is Regeerkunde, Munisipale Regering, Administrasie, Bestuur en Ondernemingsrisiko's.
Ek het 'n Ph. D-graad van die Universiteit van die Vrystaat (UV) (2004), in Openbare Administrasie en Bestuur.
Van Februarie 1994 tot einde Januarie 2003 het ek as staatsamptenaar gewerk, van 2003 tot 2024 as bestuurskonsultant, en van 1996 tot 2016 as deeltydse universiteitsdosent aan die UV; insluitend die fasilitering van veelvuldige opleidingsessies aan werkende volwassenes (hoofsaaklik in die openbare sektor).
Ek het twee akademiese boeke geskryf, wat deur Van Schaik-uitgewers uitgegee is.
Frans Minnaar is a YouTuber, Blogger, Activist, Analyst and Advisor. I analyse Current Affairs (including politics, economy, society and legal conditions). I also scrutinises the governance and administration of government institutions and municipalities. The results of such analyses are used to identify governance and enterprise risks.
Frans writes blog posts and develops YouTube videos about the results of his analyses, and about his opinions. I advise individuals, communities and business about strategies to combat the risks emanating from the turbulent environment in which South Africans and the enterprises operating in its environment function.
Frans Minnaar is 'n YouTuber, Blogger, Aktivis, Ontleder en Adviseur. Ek ontleed Aktuele sake (insluitend politiek, ekonomie, samelewing en regeertoestande). Ek ondersoek ook die regering en administrasie van staatsinstellings en munisipaliteite. Die resultate van ontledings word benut om regeer- en ondernemingsrisiko's te identifiseer.
Frans skryf blogplasings en ontwikkel YouTube-video's oor die resultate van sy ontledings, en oor sy menings. Ek adviseer individue, gemeenskappe en sakeondernemings oor strategieë om die risiko's te bekamp wat voortspruit uit die onstuimige regeringsomgewing waarin Suid-Afrikaners en die ondernemings wat in sy omgewing werk, funksioneer.
Frans Minnaar is an activist. If you want to, when you have read my opinions and commentary, you can also call me a politician (although I have no actual political aspirations). My activist agenda is pillared on four aims (or values), namely: (1) Equality (meaning actual equality, without affirmative action or “redress” policies), (2) Balanced Constitutionalism (that is, a society ruled by Constitutional values, but without preferences and opportunities for discrimination built into it); (3) Free Markets (including Capitalism as a dominant economic ideology) and (4) enterprise excellence.
Frans Minnaar is 'n aktivis. As u verkies, nadat u my menings en kommentaar gelees het, kan u my maar'n politikus noem (alhoewel ek geen werklike politieke aspirasies het nie). My aktivistiese agenda is gevestig op vier doelwitte (of waardes), naamlik: (1) Gelykheid (wat beteken werklike gelykheid, sonder regstellende aksie of “transformasie”), (2) Gebalanseerde Grondwetlikheid (dit wil sê 'n samelewing wat deur Grondwetlike waardes regeer word, maar sonder voorkeure en geleenthede vir diskriminasie daarin ingebou); (3) Vrye Markte (insluitend Kapitalisme as 'n dominante ekonomiese ideologie) en (4) Ondernemingsuitnemendheid.

I develop YouTube videos, podcasts and voice recording, which I post on my Youtube channel, and/or the video – and sound platforms (and apps) on this website.
